Expectation

Living in Singapore comes with many expectations. But when faced with financial difficulties, many experiences and opportunities were hard to come by. Things like going for tuition classes or special interest classes like dance, that might seem attainable to most were beyond my means. Many Singaporeans expect and assume that everyone has the ability to live comfortably, but they don’t realise that some people fail to meet these expectations. It is vital that we understand each other’s background before imposing these expectations on each other.
